RYSE is a group of licensed, sober living homes located in the heart of Woodbridge Township, NJ. Our RYSE Houses are fully furnished with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms in each home. The homes are located within walking distance of public transportation, with work opportunities, and a huge 12-step recovery community!

Bringing a Vision for a Better Approach to Recovery
RYSE Recovery was born from the idea that recovery is about more than just getting off of drugs or alcohol. It is about creating a new life so full of passion that there is no room left for substance abuse. If recovering addicts are going to thrive beyond their addiction, they need to fulfill the needs of their mind, body, and soul.
✅ To encourage and assist residents to become and remain financially self-sufficient through gainful employment. Provide residents with career and internship opportunities through community outreach and guest speakers (as seen in photo & video.)
✅ To provide safe, sober and affordable housing for men and women desiring to stop using drugs and alcohol and make a transition from addiction to recovery.
✅ Most importantly, to help and encourage residents to find joy in their new life and cultivate passion in everything they do. Teach them to love themselves and work with others by building a new family and strong peer support system.
RYSE Recovery House Guidlines
Getting clean and sober is a choice. Staying clean and sober is a commitment. At RYSE Recovery Houses, we believe being truly successful on the journey of recovery relies heavily on the support one receives and who they surround themselves with. We believe in addressing the individual as a whole and know there is no one way to recover. A day at a time we work with our brothers and sisters in recovery to help empower them to build a solid foundation here at RYSE.
- Drug testing. Complete sobriety is not only a requirement but a priority in a sober living house, just like the addiction treatment.
- House meetings. Regular meetings are a mandatory component in a sober living house. These meetings allow recovering individuals to check with each other, assign chores, and talk through any other necessary topics.
- Curfews. Being home by a certain time is another requirement that encourages responsibility in the recovering individual.
- Cleaning. Cleaning of the sober living house allows residents to share accountability and keep their space tidy. Residents will generally take turns fulfilling certain chores.
The Most Important Thing is To Get Well Again!
We seek to encourage, motivate and utilize cognitive behavioral strategies to help individuals change unhealthy thought patterns, promote treatment engagement and increase desire for change. We are person-centered, culturally sensitive and understand the importance of treating co-occurring disorders while promoting the important concept of “we” in recovery.
Once a resident arrives at one of our RYSE houses, they will be welcomed by our compassionate staff. All clients will participate in assessments, workshops, activities and skill building sessions to ease the transition. If benefits have not already been verified through an earlier phone screening, clients will meet with Intake Specialists at this time to identify resources for continued treatment.
